M. Todd Brandt, D.D.S., M.D.
Dr. Brandt is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He completed his residency and obtained a Medical Degree at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Brandt served for 8 years in the United States Navy Reserve and was honorably discharged in 2010 as a Lieutenant Commander. He also served as President of the Shenandoah Valley Dental Association from 2009-2010. Dr. Brandt lives in Waynesboro with his wife and two sons.
Dr. Brandt is dedicated to our local community. He has served on numerous charitable committees including the Augusta Regional Dental Clinic Board, the Virginia Fly Fishing Festival Committee, the Grace Race 5K Run/Walk Event and the Waynesboro YMCA Tri for the Y Triathlon. He serves on the session of his local church, Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church, has been a parent leader with The Boys Scouts of America and currently serves as a volunteer Travel Soccer Coach for SOCA-Augusta. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and competing in Triathlons and Crossfit events.
Dr. Brandt is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and was appointed in 2017 to serve as a national Board Examiner with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Corey C. Burgoyne, DMD.
Dr. Burgoyne is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
Dr. Burgoyne performs personalized, quality care and has an interest in treating patients of all ages, and especially those with special needs. She is dedicated to giving to the community both by teaching and by service. Dr. Burgoyne has volunteered for many local and international dental and surgical mission trips since 2003, and she is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Outside of the office, Dr. Burgoyne is passionate about physical and mental health through sports and nutrition.
Most of all Dr. Burgoyne is a dedicated wife and mother, and her greatest joy in life is her family.
April - Office Manager
April moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 1986. She has been with Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2009 and enjoys helping people and motivating our team. She has worked in every department of our office with in-depth knowledge that allows her to lead with understanding and exceptional competency. She is offers professionalism and continuity of care from patients and referring doctors to the completion of care with our practice.
Mandi - Business Office Specialist
Mandi has enjoyed work in billing for the past 6 years. Mandi has an unwaveringly positive attitude and a tender, caring ways about her. She resides in Waynesboro with her husband and two boys.
Lacie - Business Office Specialist
Lacie has been a leader in the billing department for 10 years. Born and raised in Stuarts Draft, Lacie lives with her husband and 2 boys. Lacie is a valued teammate who works with a strong spirit and professional grace. She is a true asset to Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dawn - Surgical Assistant
Dawn is a very busy mom of 3 boys. She has always lived in the Shenandoah Valley and is proud to call it her home. She truly enjoys spending time with family, hiking, camping, sitting on the beach, and doing anything that includes the outdoors.
Professionally she has been fascinated with anything in the medical field. Dawn worked at a local hospital for a year then decided to stay at home with her boys while they were young. Once the boys were off to school, she renewed her pursuits in the medical field. Dawn finds purpose by helping others in the community, and knows that the work that she does truly makes a difference.
Sharon - Surgical Assistant
Sharon has been a Surgical Assistant with Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since May 2015. She loves coming to work to provide outstanding care to patients and work with an outstanding team. She has a degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University and is also a Certified Medical Assistant. In addition to her assisting duties, Sharon is responsible for maintaining surgical inventory for both practice locations. Sharon is from Lexington, Virginia, and currently lives in Staunton with her husband, their two children, and several pets. She is also a group fitness instructor at a local health club which keeps her on the go all most of the time. Her passions infiltrate all aspects of her work in a positive and uplifting way.
Deanna - Implant Coordinator
Deanna and her two children reside in the Fishersville community. Deanna has worked in the dental field for 18 years as a dental assistant. She pursed advanced education and received her certificate in medical office billing and coding. At Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Deanna has flourishes in many areas from surgical assisting, to insurance benefits, to implant coordinating. During her downtime she is very involved in her children's school and extracurricular activities which include coaching little league baseball and basketball.
Basoz - Surgical Assistant
Basoz was born in Slemani, Kurdistan, and now lives in Waynesboro, Virginia. Basoz has a gift for meeting new people and a passion for helping others. The dental and medical field suits her perfectly. Basoz enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family, being in nature, and hiking whenever she can.
Ashlie - Business Office Specialist
Ashlie was born and raised in Canada, and she is now a local resident of her husband’s hometown of Waynesboro, VA. Ashlie has celebrated 5+ years of marriage, and she and her husband have a daughter and son, Quinn and Cash. She enjoys visiting the local car shows and live music in the area.
As a billing specialist, Ashlie can explain and discuss any insurance question or concern you may have. She enjoys working with patients to assure they are getting the best care with their insurance claims.
Sonya - Front Office / Scheduling Coordinator
Sonya is one of the Front office and scheduling Coordinators. Sonya has worked in the dental field for over 20 years and has been with Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since August 2016. She is one of the smiling faces that greets you when you arrive here at Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She works to the best of her ability to always keeping the schedule full and running smoothly for the day. Sonya strives for the Doctors and the patients to have an excellent visit. She enjoys getting to know the patience and always tries to make the patients feel welcomed and comfortable here at Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She has had a lot of Experience working in the dental field and is eager to learn more about Oral surgery.
Melissa - Front Office / Scheduling Coordinator
Melissa is one of the receptions and scheduling coordinators in both our Fishersville and Lexington office. Melissa is also trained to serve in the business office. She works hard to keep the schedule full and to help make the day go as smooth as possible for the patients and the doctors. Her goal every day is to make the patients have the best experience at each visit. Melissa started at Blue Ridge Oral Surgery in May 2017. She graduated from Stuarts Draft High School in 2016 and will be marrying her fiancé Dylan, in October of 2018. When she is not at work she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Sandra - Front Office / Scheduling Coordinator
Sandra brings much experience to our front office team with an established career in the dental field. She shares a bright smile and warming welcome when receiving calls to the office and greeting patients at our front door. She is always glad to answer questions and to help you or your loved one become a patient of our practice.
Shannon - Surgical Assistant
Shannon has a long career in surgical assisting. She has a gift with children and patients with special needs. She is a loving mother of 5, and she approaches her work as if each patient were a member of her family.
Sadie - Surgical Assistant
Sadie is a highly skilled surgical assistant with steady hands and a sharp wit. She takes the time to get to know patients and has a calming demeanor with patient care. We are grateful for Sadie’s positive attitude and unwavering commitment to the practice.
